JB Train Tours invites you to join us on this rugby train tour to Johannesburg. This is a safe and secure tour for friends and families, supporters & rugby fans who’d like to enjoy and experience Super 15 rugby at its best between two old rivals at Coke Park in Jo’burg.

The Sharks had no good Super 14 season, but they were afterwards crowned as Currie Cup champs whilst the Lions would like to forget their 2010 campaign. Go and live this game and experience a rugby tour like never before. We did it in 2010 – come and enjoy it with us in 2011.

This tour is a combination of: travelling by train; enjoying Egoli, the rugby experience with mates, the highveld or just relax.

Are you tired of driving or flying, looking for accommodation and worrying about the logistics? We’ll take you there. When travelling by train, you don’t have to worry about increasing petrol prices, tollgate fees, heavy traffic, driving back or sitting in your car. It is so much easier and VERY price competitive.

Children

Children ages 2 - 9 get the above ‘Children’ discount. Younger children, sharing a bed with parent, will travel free of charge.

Deposit

A R500 per person non-refundable deposit will secure your place. The balance must be paid by latest six weeks before departure date. If NOT paid, your place will be cancelled automatically. I.e.: By 29 April 2011. If booking is done after this date, the full amount must be paid.

Included in price

Return transport by train to Jo’burg, 2 nights’ accommodation and bedding on the train, bus transport to Coca-Cola Park, rugby ticket, tour guide, as well as certain meals are included in the tour price.

Meals

A daily breakfast and one supper are included in the tour price. All other (tasty) meals are available at very reasonable prices on the train and in Jo’burg.

Excluded from the tour price

Entry fees at tourist destinations & expenses of a personal nature, comprehensive insurance & meals not mentioned.

Route

You will travel on the Jo’burg Trans Natal Tourist Class Train from Durban via Pietermaritzburg, Ladysmith, Newcastle and Standerton to Jo’burg. Passengers may board or dis-embark at any point en route. Please indicate on your Reservation Form.

This is a casual holiday train tour. It is ideal for friends, families, clubs or corporates; those who haven’t been on an overnight train or haven’t visited Coca-Cola Park or Jo’burg before, at a rate not to be repeated.
