JB Train Tours invites you to join us on this rugby train tour to Pretoria. This is a safe and secure tour for friends and families, supporters & rugby fans who’d like to enjoy and experience Super 15 rugby at its best between two old rivals in the “Bull ring” in Pretoria.
The Sharks had a good Super 14 (2010 finalist) season whilst the Bulls were crowned as the champions. Go and live this game and experience a rugby tour like never before. We did it in 2010 – come and enjoy it with us in 2011.
This tour is a combination of: travelling by train; enjoying the Capital at a very affordable rate, sleeping in a top hotel with a swimming pool and other facilities; enjoying the highveld or just relax.
Are you tired of driving or flying, looking for accommodation and worrying about the logistics? We’ll take you there. When travelling by train, you don’t have to worry about increasing petrol prices, tollgate fees, heavy traffic, driving back or sitting in your car. It is so much easier and VERY price competitive.
If you have never been on Loftus Versfeld (the Bull ring!), this is the time to experience. Go and support your team and drink, eat, sleep, talk and walk rugby the whole weekend. You’ll be away from work for only two days from work, but you’ll have 2 weeks’ experiences.
Our company has been hosting many train tours to rugby tests, Super 10, 12 & 14 games, as well as Currie Cup matches over the past number of years. Come and live it!

Children
Children ages 2 – 9 get the above ‘Children’ discount. Younger children, sharing a bed with parent, will travel free of charge.
Deposit
A R500 per person non-refundable deposit will secure your place. The balance must be paid by latest six weeks before departure date. If NOT paid, your place will be cancelled automatically. I.e.: By 6 May 2011. If booking is done after this date, the full amount must be paid.

Included in price
Return transport by train to Jo’burg, 2 nights’ accommodation and bedding on the train, bus transport to Loftus Versfeld & back to Standerton station, rugby ticket, tour guide, as well as certain meals are included in the tour price.
Meals
A daily breakfast and one supper are included in the tour price. All other (tasty) meals are available at very reasonable prices on the train and in Pretoria.
Excluded from the tour price
Entry fees at tourist destinations & expenses of a personal nature, comprehensive insurance & meals not mentioned.
Route
You will travel on the Jo’burg Trans Natal Tourist Class Train from Durban via Pietermaritzburg, Ladysmith, Newcastle and Standerton to Jo’burg. Passengers may board or dis-embark at any point en route. Please indicate on your Reservation Form.
Accommodation

This is a casual holiday train tour. It is ideal for friends, families, clubs or corporates; those who haven’t been on an overnight train or haven’t visited Loftus Versfeld or Pretoria before, at a rate not to be repeated.
