The Cherry Festival, held annually during the third week of November, will be hosting its 44th Festival in 2011 in the picturesque town of Ficksburg. With the Maluti Mountains on the one side and the rolling wheat, maize, asparagus fields and cherry orchards on the other side, it is one of the most beautiful tourism destinations in South Africa.

Travel again this year by luxury bus from Pretoria via Centurion, Midrand & Johannesburg to the Eastern Free State. This is a ‘jam packed’ tour to allow you to be away from home only for a limited period, but still enjoy comfort, safety, service and value for money. Similar packages with other companies will cost you R4000+.

Two breakfasts & two dinners are included in the tour price. You are welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks.

Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of R500 per person is to be paid when booking is done. The balance must be paid by latest 18th October 2011. (One month before departure date). If not done, the booking will be cancelled automatically

Included in the tour price

Return bus trip in a luxury coach, certain meals, two nights accommodation, entry to the cherry farm, Nature Conservation Fees, tour guide, safety and security.

Excluded from the tour price

Entry fee to the Cherry Festival Park, other excursions, expenses of a personal nature, meals not mentioned.

Routes

From Pretoria via Centurion, Midrand, JHB, Frankfort, Bethlehem to Ficksburg return.

Embarking

You may join the tour at any of the above-mentioned places. Please indicate on your Reservation Form.

Safe Parking

Safe parking available at PTA (hotel) and JHB stations.

Departure times

Please note all the departure times carefully. If you stay behind, you have to catch up at your own cost. The bus does not wait.

Please attach your Bank Deposit slip when faxing the Form to us. Write your name and "Cherry" on the Bank Deposit slip.

Confirmation

Your booking will be confirmed in writing.

Cancellation of the tour

If the tour is to be cancelled prior to departure for whatever reason, your money will be refunded in full. No cancellations will be accepted after the 16th October 2011.
