Unfortunately ALL our train tours for the rest of the year to Cape Town are fully booked and 25 extra tours will now be hosted by luxury coaches and NOT by train.

The public demand for more tours is so huge that we just had to arrange more tours in December 2011 to Cape Town on short notice. Although it is peak season in Cape Town, we’ve managed to secure good accommodation and luxury transport.

We have upgraded and changed our tours in a short space of time and you will now get even MORE VALUE for MONEY, plus a few more interesting tourist sight seeing spots to be visited. We’ve added some more dates and the tour price will remain unchanged whilst the extras that we’ve added will not cost you a cent more. The departure times (compared to the train’s departure times) have changed and we’ve added two nights’ accommodation en route.

This tour is a combination of: travelling by luxury bus; enjoying Cape Town at a very affordable rate, sleeping in a top nodge hotel with a swimming pool and other facilities; enjoying the beach and sea, visiting the most popular tourist destinations in Cape Town; or just relax.

Are you tired of driving, looking for accommodation and worrying about the logistics? We’ll take you there. When travelling by luxury bus, you don’t have to worry about increasing petrol prices, tollgate fees, heavy traffic, driving back in your car. It is so much easier and VERY price competitive.

Any person who is interested in visiting Cape Town and surroundings, travelling up Table Mountain by cable car or crossing the sea to Robben Island by boat, enjoying the scenery at Cape Point or just want to have fun, may travel along. Children

Children ages 2 - 12 pay the above 'Child' prices. Younger children, sharing a seat on the bus and a bed with parent, will travel free of charge.

Deposit

A R500 per person non-refundable deposit will secure your place. The balance must be paid by latest six weeks before departure date. If NOT paid, your place will be cancelled automatically.

Included in price

Return transport by luxury coach to Cape Town, 4 nights B&B accommodation in a top hotel in Cape Town, 2 nights’ accommodation en route, free bus transport to excursions, entry fee to Cape Point, tour guide, as well as certain meals are included in the tour price.

Meals

A daily breakfast and two suppers are included in the tour price. All other (tasty) meals are available at very reasonable prices en route and in Cape Town.

Excluded from the tour price

Entry fees at tourist destinations not mentioned in the Info Doc. I.e.: Table Mountain & Robben Island.

Note

It is highly recommended that passengers book their places on the Robben Island trip well in advance. It does happen often that these trips are fully booked. We suggest that you book your Robben Island trip on Day 3 or Day 5 of your tour - a morning trip as per your applicable tour dates.

Route

You will travel on a luxury bus from Pretoria and Johannesburg to Cape Town via Potchefstroom, Klerksdorp, Kimberley, Beaufort West and Worcester. Passengers may embark or dis-embark at any point en route. Please indicate on your Reservation Form.

We stop regularly for 'body and/or smoke breaks'.

On the luxury coach

Reclining seats, TV, CD player & PA system, Air Con, curtains, Toilet, two bus drivers & peace of mind. We make use of Protours'’ coaches.

Protours Coach

Not allowed on the luxury coach:    Smoking, any liquor, long faces and whiners!

Accommodation

Passengers will be accommodated for four nights in a top hotel in CBD Cape Town. The rooms are spacious, with good facilities, (I.e.: Gym, pool, sauna, terrace, restaurant, cocktail bar, TV in the room, en-suite bathroom, etc.) and the hotel is well located in town.

The 4 star Fountains Hotel http://www.fountainshotel.co.za/ has been accommodating our passengers for many years with great success.

En Route to Cape Town passengers will overnight at the Wagon Wheel Motel in Beaufort West. http://www.wagonwheel.co.za/ (Dinner & breakfast included).

On the return trip passengers will overnight at the Horse Shoe Inn in Kimberley. http://horseshoeinn.co.za (Dinner & breakfast included).

Tour guide

An Experienced tour guide is travelling along on each tour. He/she will ad value to your tour. His/her cell phone number will be availed to you closer to departure date.

Notes

This is a casual holiday tour and still very popular. It is ideal for families; those who haven’t been on a coach holiday or haven’t visited Cape Town before, at a rate not to be repeated.
